I didn't think Blogger was ever going to let me post today! It's been down for a couple of days now.
Week eight went very well. Even though I had surgery on my toe and had some difficulty walking, I still lost two pounds. I did pretty well staying on points all week. Yesterday was kind of crazy. Even thought it is technically a start of another weight watchers week, I will summarize what happened.
After washing my and my husband's cars and doing other outside odd jobs, I decided to work on filling in the rut that all the rain has caused behind my garage. The city won't fix it for whatever reason. So I take my shovel and bucket and walk down to the end of the alley where all the gravel has washed. The neighbor's pitbull was acting aggitated but had a collar and leash on and was behind a fence so I wasn't too concerned. By the time I had filled my bucket 3/4 full and headed back to my house, the dog had managed to get out of his collar and over the fence. He came right at me growling and snarling. Thankfully I had the shovel so I kept him at bay. I yelled for help over and over until finally a neighbor came and grabbed his golf club to keep the dog away and another neighbor called the police. I was fine, he didn't get the close to me, but it was pretty terrifying. There are children in the neighborhood that could be killed by an animal like that. I told the police officer that I just didn't want it to happen again to me or anyone else. I can't believe someone would have a dog with that kind of temperment in town.
So, after a fun filled week, here are my stats:
Weight loss this week: -2.0lbs
Total weight loss: -18.4lbs
