Week 28

Ahem, so yeah.... I did not behave myself last week. Let's just leave it at that. I am feeling mostly better. Still have pain in the side but getting used to it since the doc just wants to throw more medication at me. It seems to positively correlate with my stress levels though. The more stress I am under the more the pain goes up! So now I am working on getting back to where I was last week and maybe a little more if possible. I just can't seem to get my head in the game with all this other crap going on. But school will be done in like six weeks so that will help. I am nervous about the coming holidays. I am trying to remember that they are just normal days like every other day, and does not give me the excuse to binge out on turkey. Especially when we have like fifty different family functions to attend. I still want to hit fifty pounds before the end of the year so I am going to get my butt in gear. My mom bought me the extension step for my Wii Fit Board which raises it up 3 inches. I love doing the step aerobics on there so that will help work me a little bit more. If I would just make the time to do it!

Week 27

Still having some health issues this week but am finally feeling better enough to get back on plan. We still aren't able to walk at night as we have both had pretty bad colds and are worried that the cold night air would exacerbate the coughing and stuff. But I managed to keep on points this week and did okay with that.

Week 26

This week sucked. I felt like crap all week and no matter what I do I can't seem to get better. A gall bladder ultrasound was run but it came back normal. So now I have a Rx for prilosec to see if that helps. But the pain remains and gets worse. I could barely get moving this morning I felt so run down physically. I am feeling better now but wonder how long that will last. Needless to say I did zero walking, and didn't do so great on the eating either. I am back on track today thank goodness and the scale is starting to go the proper direction again. This week in my head doesn't count because if you felt like this, you wouldn't care either. So last week is a wash and I am going to better this week.

Week 25

This was a pretty rough week for me physically. My right side has been hurting for probably the last month or so, just a kind of dull ache. But on Thursday it started hurting much worse, and on both sides. I ended up going to the ER on Thursday night and they ran some tests: urine, blood, and x-ray but all the results were normal. Friday I stayed home from work because it still hurt so badly. I have an appointment with my regular doc this afternoon and I am hoping he can give me some answers. Despite not walking all weekend (I didn't want to potentially hurt myself worse) and not making the greatest food choices, I still did well this week with my weigh-in. Apparently my body is doing the work regardless, lol. I am going to pay much better attention to food this week and hopefully get the health stuff straightened out.

So for this week:

Total weight loss: -40.8 lbs

I hit my goal of 40lbs lost! My next goal is, of course, to hit 50lbs lost. I think I might really be able to do it before the end of the year!!

Fall Pumpkins!

My project this weekend has been working on these cute little fall pumpkins. I found all this fabric at either the Salvation Army or as a remnant. The tutorial I used wasn't that great and I ended up changing a few things in the process of making them. I am pretty happy with the way they turned out! I am planning on making another set for my mom, I figured I would give her the second set as they are bound to be much better! Cute Cute!

Week 24

We were able to walk almost every night this week. While I didn't have a great big loss, my daily weigh-in weight has been down overall so that is a big deal as well. I have been doing very well staying within my daily points and keeping track of them as well. So for this week:

Weight loss this week: -0.8 lbs
Total weight loss: -38.8 lbs

I think this is pretty good, especially since my stress levels have gone through the roof lately. I recently had to cut out some 'extra-curriculars' that I didn't want to lose, but I just didn't have time to do everything and get my homework done. So, I will do what I have to do until my classes are over and I have a life again. That's life!

Week 23

Well, I wasn't sure how this week was going to go because we just can't seem to get back into the walking routine that we were in before my classes started. I have still been working on keeping my food intake in check. We had a couple of splurge days, we went out to dinner on Wednesday for our anniversary but I was still careful. I have been working hard on changing the food habits that I have evidently adopted over the years. This is going well and it is helping me to eat less because I am eating to be satisfied not stuffed. So, for this week:
