This week was kind of bred out of necessity but it ended up being a very good thing. The middle of the month is always a bit tighter than the rest of the month because out house payment and all the rest of the major bills come out at this time. So add that to the cost of my text books (over $300) and it ended up being even tighter than usual. So we made it a goal to only eat at home this week. We are pretty guilty (mostly motivated by me) of eating out far too frequently during the week. I even packed my lunches for my class nights - turkey sandwiches and yogurt. We also did well with our walking this week, only missing a couple of nights for various reasons. So obviously this week was a better week for my body and weight loss as well. I had felt kind of stuck and thought that I was going to plateau. But, as you can see below, this week was great! Not only did I lose more weight this week than normal, but we didn't spend the extra money for eating out.

Week 18
Short and sweet. Had a cruddy week and ate too much and exercised too little. Today I am back on the wagon. So for my own peace of mind, I am calling last week a wash. This week will be better.

Week 17
Another one bites the dust!
Another week down and more weight down, yay! This week was a good one, food choice wise. We also got in exercise every night which is a good thing. Since I hit my 30 lb mark last week, my mom and I went shopping for clothes today. We had a great day out and I got some clothes that actually fit me! Believe it or not (and you probably won't), I actually bought some dresses. They are super cute though and I think I will wear one to my HS reunion next weekend. So for this week:

Week 16
Wow, sixteen weeks already. It's hard to believe! This was a week of getting back on the plan after being out of town over last weekend. I wasn't sure what the scale was going to do this week but I did a good job of staying on plan and we walked every night this week. So the numbers for the week are:
Weight loss this week: -2.6 lbs
Total weight loss: -30.2 lbs
I am sure excited because my mom is going to take me shopping next Sunday for some new clothes that will actually fit. I am running out of stuff in the closet that fits me at this point. This was her incentive to keep me going. My next major goal is to get to a fifty pound weight loss. If I keep up like I have, I should be able to meet it by the end of this year. yay!!
